Thanks to ﬁnancing from ITEM, I led the ALCOVE project, a signiﬁcative step forward in our understanding of the impact of sustainable viticultural practices on the soil-vine continuum. Its success is based on a genuine synergy between environmental sciences (biotechnologies, chemistry, ecology and genotoxi-cology) and human sciences (psychosociology, geography). By being perfectly anchored in the socio-professional sphere, this project contributes to the adoption of new paradigms and new practices to meet the challenges of the Environmental Transition.
