The ITEM institute draws on research teams within 13 research units and connects around 250 staff from Aix Marseille Université, the CNRS, the IRD, the IRSN and also the Collège de France, the INRAe, SciencePo Aix, the universities of Avignon and Toulon. We also have 7 partner faculties, with over 1,300 students enrolled in the Master’s programmes attached to our institute, and 4 partner doctoral school within our scope, with around 200 PhD students.
