Institut ITEM supported the RapMed automatic plankton recognition project, combining the expertise of CEREGE in geosciences and AI, and MIO in oceanography. This collaboration has generated new methods, which will be used in the A*Midex Transfert "MicroTree" project with robotics SME ATG Technologie to create an automated microparticle sorting platform.

In addition to providing high-quality theoretical training, the MAEVA Master's degree offered by ITEM includes a number of professional experiences. In particular, I was able to take part in a field school on pollution (POLEMIL) and a Summer school in Indonesia in partnership with UMRAH, which dealt with concrete issues. All this enabled me to go on to do a thesis at LCE, the Chemistry and Environment Laboratory.

Thanks to financing from ITEM, I led the ALCOVE project, a significative step forward in our understanding of the impact of sustainable viticultural practices on the soil-vine continuum. Its success is based on a genuine synergy between environmental sciences (biotechnologies, chemistry, ecology and genotoxi-cology) and human sciences (psychosociology, geography). By being perfectly anchored in the socio-professional sphere, this project contributes to the adoption of new paradigms and new practices to meet the challenges of the Environmental Transition.
