Launch Annual Call for Projects ITEM Mediterranean Institute for Environmental Transition | RESEARCH PROJECTS
A new funding dynamic for integrated, innovative, transdisciplinary and cross-sectoral research projects
This call for projects is divided into two sections, one called "white", the other called "colored".
The "white" section
Corresponds to the "classic" Transition in Action call for projects, with funding for
cross-disciplinary and cross-sectoral Research projects, with a maximum of one doctoral
maximum of one doctoral fellowship and one 18-month postdoctoral fellowship (or 2
18-month postdoctoral fellowships), plus a €30k operating grant. The
funding from ITEM will be a maximum of 80%, with the partner providing the additional 20%.
The "colored" component
An invitation to submit letters of intent for interdisciplinary projects
interdisciplinary projects involving several theses or post-docs, on themes arising from the Journées
(see § 3). An adhoc committee will select 3 to 5 letters, each of which will receive a grant of
of €5,000 to structure the project or initiate preliminary work, prior to presentation to the LabCom.

LabCom (Laboratoire Commun) is a think-tank launched by the CNRS around the theme of "Territories of the future".
